Ingredients
For the Chocolate Chips:
1 cup dark chocolate chips, I love Hu Kitchen gems with just 3 simple ingredients, organic fairtrade cacao, organic fairtrade unrefined coconut sugar, organic fairtrade cocoa butter
Sea salt (for sprinkling)
For the Strawberry Salsa:
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and diced
1 cup Greek yogurt, I love Chobani low fat plain, you could choose flavored as well
Drizzled honey to add some sweetness to plain yogurt
Preparation
1. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Or, you can melt in a small pan on stovetop, low to medium heat, stirring continuously.
2. Create the Chips: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into thin circle shapes. You can use a spatula to ensure it is distributed evenly.
3. Sprinkle Sea Salt: Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt evenly over the melted chocolate.
4. Freeze: Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until the chocolate is completely solid.
5. Chop the Strawberries: In a medium bowl, chop the strawberries into small, bite-sized pieces.
6. Combine Ingredients: Add the Greek yogurt, honey, strawberries to a bowl.
7.When chocolate is ready, grab a chocolate chip, dip it into the strawberry salsa, and enjoy this delightful and decadent snack!
